To win big at these elections in May, we need people to help out:

• on Polling day – Thursday 7th May
• on Count day – Friday 8th May

Polling Day

For polling day we need lots of volunteers to 'knock up' Green voters we've already found and remind them to get out and vote, as well as to wait near polling stations to smile and greet voters!

We also need people who can lend us some space in their home to use as bases or hubs for volunteers – as well as anyone who can help with data entry, planning/coordination, basic catering, and more!

Refreshments and breaks will be available as needed, and you can commit as much or as little time as you have. If you can book the time off work and commit to helping out all day, that would be amazing!

Polling stations are open from 7:00am to 10:00pm, so we need volunteers across the whole day, even if you can't promise to be free the whole day!

It's the most important day of the election. Full training will be provided on the day, even if you haven't done any door-knocking before.

Count Day

For the count we need volunteers at the Excel London to watch and spot for any mistakes made by the official vote counters, and to be there to watch the results announced live and cheer on our candidates.

We don't know how long the counting will last, so we recommend booking the day off work if you'd like to help out with the count. The counting usually starts at 7:00am sharp, and ends somewhere between 4 and 8pm. It's a long day, but exciting and rewarding!

We're also planning a victory party later that evening! (so save the date!)

Candidates

If you're a candidate (target or non-target) make sure you sign up for polling day – and especially count day, as there are spaces reserved for all candidates to attend, and you'll get to be on stage for the results!
