The Working Families Party is launching Bet On Us — a program investing in the leadership of Black women and nonbinary people. Bet On Us creates a community of progressive Black women and nonbinary people who are interested in running for office, becoming WFP leaders and organizing across our movements to transform our democracy.

Join us for our virtual Bet on Us Sankofa kickoff on April 7th at 7:00pm.

Bet on Us is partnering with re:power to create the Sankofa co-learning space that teaches organizing skills, tools, and tactics. We know our current political climate has brought a significant number of people into organizing. We view this as an opportunity for new and more seasoned leaders to reflect on lessons by freedom fighters who preceded us and build on those lessons with skills that will help propel us forward in our current struggles. Join us for our first session on April 7th or every second Tuesday starting in May. We invite anyone who identifies as a progressive Black woman or Black non-binary person to join us to learn and share.
