I want to stay in touch with the Blue Mountains bHive project!

The bHive co-operative villages platform is a very welcome opportunity to create an alternative to giant global digital platforms, which are starting to shape our lives and economies in directions that only benefit their expansion, rather than focusing on our local needs and encouraging thriving communities.

The bHive platform that we would like to adapt to the Blue Mountains will be based on the Bendigo bHive model (from Bendigo, Victoria: see video below).

The Blue Mountains City Council, in collaboration with ACE (Action for Community and the Environment) and Resilient Blue Mountains, is investigating a pilot project to explore the uptake of the platform locally.
