Stevens County Fire District 1 protects more than 15,000 residents spread over 375 square miles

in the southern end of Stevens County. We do this from eight stations that are staffed by

approximately 75 firefighters. For this reason, we maintain participation standards for work shifts,

training, and incident response which will be shared with you prior to your appointment to ensure

that you’re ready to meet the challenge.
