Upcoming events:

1. This Thursday, June 15, the County Council will hold a work session on the rent stabilization bills. Community members won't have the opportunity to speak but we are hoping to get 60 people at the hearing with signs to show that the HOME Act has the support of the people. We will gather at 1:00pm at the County Council building in Rockville (100 Maryland Ave, Rockville). RSVP here.

2. On the evening of June 21, the County Council will hold a hybrid community town hall with all of the council members present. We need renters to show up and ask council members questions about rent stabilization. We also need volunteers to flyer outside the town hall to spread the word about the HOME Act. The town hall is at Weller Road Elementary School in Glenmont at 7pm. More information about the town hall is here and RSVP here.

3. On Monday, June 26, the County Council will hold another work session on rent stabilization legislation, starting at 1:00pm. RSVP here.
