SIM College Access Help Request

The college application process is a difficult time for everyone, but it is especially hard for undocumented and children of immigrants. We are here to say we’re in this together. We are undocumented leaders at the Student Immigrant Movement, who just like you, have lived through the tension of this moment. How do we obtain our degrees when we’re banned from higher education by racist, discriminatory immigration laws? We’ve lived through many obstacles and we understand how crippling it is to not know where you will be 10 years, 5 years, and even one year from today.

For our College Access Program: We provide guidebooks, materials, scholarship lists, and tailored advice. We are also available for presentations at high schools looking to learn more about how to support immigrant youth through the college application process. For requests please visit and fill out this seperate form specifically for the link below bit.ly/presentationrequestsim

The College Access Program(CAP) is one of SIM’s major programs. CAP’s objective is to provide resources and training for undocumented students in order to support them in having a better chance of going to college, which will help them to improve not only their lives, but also their community. With CAP, we also hope to attract more youth to SIM and encourage them to become more involved with SIM’s many different teams and programs.
