Healthcare is a human right!

Black and Immigrant workers catering flights for American Airlines are facing a healthcare crisis.

American Airlines has made $12 billion in profit since 2015 while subcontracted catering workers servicing American’s flights struggle with unaffordable health insurance premiums, high deductibles and poverty wages.

“I’m stuck. I can’t afford the company health insurance—it’s way too expensive—and I can’t get Medicaid because I’ve applied for citizenship.
Right now, my children and I have no health insurance.”
-Fatoumata Kaba, LSG Sky Chefs

The City of Philadelphia must decide whether to offer American Airlines a one-year lease extension within the next 90 days.

WHAT: Major mobilization at the Philadelphia International Airport
WHEN: October 24th, 5 pm
