But in just ten years, greedy corporations and some state representatives have been working together to drown out the voices of the working class and make it impossible for communities to solve local problems with local solutions. And while corporate profits sore, they turn around and blame hard times on working families, our Black and Brown communities, and new immigrants.

But when we join together and speak in one voice we can demand the state stops interfering with local government and create state and local governance that works for all Tennesseans, Black, White and Brown, just like when we won fighting for a Community Benefit Agreement and the Do Better Bill.
