More About an Article V Convention:

An Article V Constitutional Convention (or a ConCon) is a mechanism that allows two-thirds of the states to call a convention to rewrite significant portions of the U.S. Constitution.

Corporations, through dark special interest groups like the Heritage Foundation, American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), and Convention of States Action (COSA) have quietly been lobbying state legislatures to call for a convention. The issue is, ConCon has ZERO rules about who represents the people, allowing these dark lobbies to send their representatives to rewrite the Constitution, take away our freedoms, and ban the government from regulating corporations. ALEC wants to use an Article V Convention to:

• Impose a Constitutional BAN ON ABORTION
• REMOVE checks and balances on the President & destroy our democracy
• ALLOW extractive industries to pillage national parks & forests for profit
• OVERTURN the Civil Rights Act of 1964
