Stop Catalyst

Stop Catalyst. $490 million plus of white elephant projects our community can't afford.
Stop Catalyst campaign

Regina residents of all political leanings and ideological stripes are coming together to stand up against City Council's $490 million+ Catalyst plan — wasteful spending that distracts us from tackling the real problems Regina faces.

The Stop Catalyst campaign will be building toward the November 13, 2024 Regina municipal election. We're calling on candidates for Mayor and City Council to commit to the following --

  • Fix up the Brandt Centre and skip the downtown arena.
  • Fund our transit goals and upgrade the existing Lawson Centre.
  • Repair and expand the existing Central Library in its current downtown location.
  • Let’s say "Pass" on the Field of Dreams – In the current housing crisis, we should build the long-promised Yards and Taylor Fields mixed-use residential neighbourhoods, not a wind-swept baseball field
  • Scrap the Cars on Scarth plan. Keep the cars off Scarth Street Mall.
