Survivor Fund Interest Form

The In Our Names Network is a national network of organizations, campaigns, and individuals working to end police violence against Black women, girls, trans, and gender non-conforming people. One of the ways we combat police violence is by directly intervening and addressing the harms caused by this violence. Our Police Survivor Fund acts as a direct aid and mini-grant program for individuals targeted by racialized and gendered police violence and criminalization. This includes survivors of physical, sexual, economic, and fatal police violence, as well as those subject to family policing and separation.
Fast Track Recovery Hubs further extend the reach and direct impact of the Police Survivor Fund. These hubs are designed to speed up fund disbursement, ensuring that survivors receive the financial support they needed. Organizations in these hubs will submit documentation, case reports, and updates to facilitate faster aid. Through survivor-centered meetings, programming, court watching, case management, and direct action, these organizations can identify and select survivors to receive support from the fund.
Our members are essential in approving applications and ensuring survivors receive the resources they need to heal and rebuild. If you are a survivor of police violence and would like to receive a copy of our Resilient Recovery: In Our Names Network: An Abolitionist Journal for Femme Survivors of Police Violence, please fill out the form.
We are also actively recruiting members for the approval process. If you are passionate about supporting survivors and are interested in joining the Fast Track Recovery Hubs or contributing to the Survivor Fund’s work, we encourage you to complete the form as well.
