SWMI DSA has working groups that work on specific chapter priorities and campaigns. Use this form to let us know what working group or campaigns interest you and we'll get you involved! Here is a quick overview of our current working groups and campaigns.
Afrosocialist and Socialists of Color: This group provides a dedicated space for people of color to organize and collaborate.
Get the Flock Out of Kzoo: This is a campaign focused on dismantling surveillance structures in Kalamazoo.
Healthcare: This group advocates for single-payer healthcare and medical debt relief for the community and state.
Labor: This group educates people on how to organize their workplaces and strengthen worker power in the community.
Mutual Aid: Members of this group participate in weekly efforts to provide food to those in need.
Outreach & Comms Group: This group is responsible for contacting members and bringing new people into the movement.
Political Education: This group fosters a deeper understanding of socialism through collective discussions.
