Take Action!
Every voice matters. Every action counts.
This page is your hub to support Palestine - from educating yourself, to signing petitions, to helping families directly impacted by the violence. Whether you're an artist, activist, or supporter, there's a place for you in this movement. Please take a moment to explore how to take action, find ideas below! :)
Creative Ways to Take Action in Your Community:
- Paint Awareness Rocks - Paint Palestinian flags, doves, or liberation quotes on rocks and leave them in populated areas around your town, libraries, or bus stops. Add facts, a QR code, or something to raise awareness/invite someone into the conversation.
- Chalk the Streets - Sidewalk chalk messages like "Free Palestine", "Every child deserves peace", or "End the siege on Gaza."
- Sticker Art - Print from Visualizing Palestine and post them (where allowed) in public spaces.
- Yarn Bomb for Gaza - Wrap trees or signs in red/green/white/black yarn with a tag about the cause.
- Flow with Purpose - Dance, spin poi, fans, hoops, ribbons, with a small poster, patch, pin, or sash bringing awareness to the cause. Flow/dance outside of official's office as a way of peacefully protesting/bringing awareness to Palestine.
- Flow 4 Freedom Flow Jams - Host flow jams centered around the cause and raising awareness/inviting other artists and flowmies into the conversation.
- Use your Platform - Record a flow/dance routine and post it on social media with a caption linking to a fundraiser, petition, etc. Use the #Flow4Freedom and/or #FreePalestine.
- Send Care Kits - Send care kits to other artists and give some information, poems, stickers, and more to help educate each other in a communal way.
- Use Painting to Express Emotion - Invoke the emotions and energy of the collective grief and help visualize the cause.
We can all come together and make change, keep pushing, keep going, and stay true to what you stand for. :)
