Take Action For A CSU We Can All Be Proud of

Members, students, staff, alumni, and public education supporters: sign up for CFA bargaining updates and learn about upcoming actions and other ways to join in and help us win a better, safer, stronger CSU!

Over the next several months, our faculty union will be engaged in bargaining sessions, or negotiation sessions, which are open to all CFA members, with CSU management to address four contract areas: Articles 20, 23, 31 and 37.

  • Salary: Improve salaries at all ranks and in all ranges, no less than 12% General Salary Increase (GSI), supplemental pay for chairs, and more.
  • Workload: Defined workload for all faculty, compensation mandates for research, scholarship, creative activities, and service.
  • Paid Leave: Paid leave of absence for parents to a full semester, crisis leaves for circumstances not currently addressed in our contract.
  • Health & Safety: Campus safety for all faculty, community wellbeing, safe and accessible restrooms and changing rooms, designated lactation spaces for nursing parents. It’s going to take all of us working together to win!
