Take Action with the ACLU
Right now, ACLU attorneys are involved in over 20 voting rights cases throughout the nation, including:
- Recently taking on the Puerto Rico Election Commission and winning in a court order that requires policies to allow all voters who are 60 or older to vote early or by mail this election
- Challenging Ohio's patchwork system of matching voter signatures on absentee ballots and absentee ballot applications
We have to spare no effort in making sure Black and Latinx voters, poor people, our youngest voters, the elderly, and people with disabilities aren't shut out of these elections by voter suppression.
And it's critical that as efforts to block people from the ballot escalate, the ACLU can also escalate our work to fight back at every turn.
Combating voter suppression is an all-hands-on-deck fight – we cannot do this critical work, or any work to defend civil liberties, without action-takers like you with us.
So please, take action with the ACLU today and play a role in making sure we have what it takes to keep up the fight from now through Election Day. Sign our petition to get started.
