California DSA has endorsed the Billionaire Tax Act and the California Children's Education and Health Care Protection Act. These are measures to tax the tax the rich in order to fund public goods like healthcare, education, and the social safety net. In accordance with this endorsement, California DSA will form a working group to produce communications and campaign materials, host a webinar in coordination with labor partners, and support chapter-based campaigns. The working group will be led by a 5 person steering committee,  produce communications materials, engage chapter liaisons to connect the work to local efforts, host webinars to support the campaign, and build coalition across the state in order to build the left labor pole needed to fight back against Trump's war on working people.
