Tell Cable News Networks: Cover the Important Trump Tax Analysis

A new report from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP) has exposed the staggering inequality in Donald Trump's proposed tax policies. Yet major cable news networks are largely ignoring this crucial analysis.

The nonpartisan ITEP study found that Trump's tax plan would:

  • Raise taxes on 95% of Americans

  • Give the richest 1% a $36,320 average tax cut

  • Increase taxes by $1,530 on average for the middle 20% of Americans

  • Impose tariffs that would function as a highly regressive tax, disproportionately impacting poor and working families
