Tell the FCC: Our Families Are Listening
The FCC is currently accepting public comments on media regulations that could shape what families see, hear, and access across television, news, and public media
At a time when political attacks on journalists, educators, LGBTQ+ communities, and independent media are escalating, parents and caregivers deserve a voice in decisions about who controls our information, whose stories are told, and what kind of media environment our children inherit.
We believe media should strengthen democracy — not censorship, corporate consolidation, or political intimidation.
That’s why Parenting is Political is encouraging our community to submit a public comment to the FCC today. We will compile and submit comments from our families and community members directly to the FCC as part of a collective public response.
✊🏾 Tell the FCC:
• Families deserve diverse and independent media
• Public participation matters
• Media regulations should protect free expression and democratic access to information
• Parents — not politicians or corporate interests — should help shape the future of media
You do not need to be a policy expert to participate. Your lived experience, your concerns, and your hopes for the future matter.
Because Parenting is Political — and the stories our children grow up with shape the future we build together.
