Voter participation rates show a sharp decline in primaries and off-year elections. Past practice has been to focus only on campaigns. Once the campaign ends and the election is over, everyone goes their separate ways. Then, the next campaign essentially has to start from scratch. We want to change that practice.  

To sustain and engage voters all year, every year, we need to conduct activities that build communities. Community building activities focus on strengthening relationships amongst the citizens, regardless of political affiliations.
