Trans Day of Visibility on March 31st is our first as an organisation and we want to mark it by amplifying the voice of the trans person you love.

Most trans people are born to cis parents. Our view of the world informs our parenting and we know we make mistakes, so we have one question:

What is the most important thing your trans child thinks parents should know about raising a trans child?

It could be anything:

• read queer media
• celebrate your child
• get off mumsnet
• my parents needed therapy more than I did
• don’t be afraid, I’m afraid, be brave

The important thing is it’s their words not yours.
