Spring 2022 Course

Trust The People is a grassroots community building movement, sharing democratic tools to help people support their communities in the face of global crises.

At the centre of our work is the question: how do we create enduring social change to build connected, caring, resilient and truly democratic communities?

We have put together a free, online education course to help us collectively respond to this question. The course takes you through every aspect of community building - from connecting with people one to one, to running People's Assemblies, which harness the wisdom and power of the community - and spans across eight weeks, covering five in-depth modules.

Each week, the main Module session will be held on Monday 18.00-20.00 BST, and repeated on Thursday 10.00-12.00 BST. The event is run from the UK - British Summer Time is GMT+1.

We will also be running additional workshops some weeks to deepen your knowledge and skills, which we will let you know about once the timetable has been finalised.

At the end of the course, you will be ready to go out and create the change your community needs.

It doesn't end there. You can become part of 'Hive', which is a small support group composed of others from the course, who are interested in helping each other put the skills and ideas you have learnt into practice. You can also receive mentoring, and even become part of the TTP training team to pass on your skills and motivation.
