Urge Congress to support Rashida’s and her colleagues’ latest Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to block over $8 billion in weapons to Israel

We cannot separate repression and fascism in the U.S. from U.S.-supported fascism abroad.

For example, hundreds of protesters at Columbia and Harvard Universities (including Mahmoud Khalil) showed up this month to protest campus events featuring former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who has participated in war crimes, boasted about killing Arabs, and pushed against Arab self-determination.

Bennett called himself “more right-wing” than current genocidal Prime Minister Netanyahu, who has warrants out for his arrest from the International Criminal Court. And he “joked” about killing dissenting American students with pagers, referencing attacks last September when Israel’s government murdered children and healthcare workers by exploding pagers among civilians in Lebanon. Israel’s current Prime Minister also gifted Trump with a golden pager last month, further dehumanizing Lebanese and Palestinian people and making light of their deaths.

Now, Israel is refusing to abide by the recent agreed-on ceasefire deal, violating the deal and international law by killing civilians and now publicly blocking all aid (including food, medicine, water, fuel, and electricity) from entering Gaza—further starving millions of civilians.

Meanwhile, Trump is proposing ethnically cleansing all of Gaza and has already bypassed Congress multiple times to send billions of dollars worth of bombs and weapons to Israel’s government, enabling further war crimes.

To block Trump’s latest attempt to send over $8 billion in weapons to Israel, Rep. Rashida Tlaib and her colleagues in the House of Representatives and the Senate just introduced Joint Resolutions of Disapproval.

Sign on to demand Congress pass these Joint Resolutions of Disapproval, stop arming Israel’s genocide of Palestinians, and instead push for Israel to begin the second phase of the ceasefire deal—which includes Israel’s total withdrawal from Gaza.

International law demands Israel’s complete withdrawal from the occupied territories in Palestine, which has been affirmed by recent orders from the world’s top court and from the vast majority of countries in the United Nations.
