URGENT PETITION: DEFUND DAIRY CRUELTY

Last week, we revealed shocking footage from Fairlife’s operations, showing the blatant abuse of animals—brutality that is far from isolated to one corporation. The entire dairy industry is complicit. And it must stop.
Here are the undeniable truths:
- Unthinkable Violence: Calves are beaten, punched, and thrown onto trucks like garbage, their cries ignored.
- Heartless Separation: Newborn calves are forcibly ripped away from their mothers, their bond shattered in moments, leaving them confined and chained.
- Milking Parlor Hell: Mother cows are whipped and subjected to harsh, painful milking routines three times a day. Their tails are cruelly snapped as punishment.
Despite new policies, audits and even surveillance footage, this shocking mistreatment continues. The dairy industry has failed to reform.
We, the public, are paying for this cruelty with our tax dollars. In 2024, livestock producers, including dairy, received over $72 BILLION in subsidies. This isn’t helping farmers—it’s underwriting cruelty. Your office has the power to change this.
We demand you defund these subsidies until the dairy industry can prove that cruelty is no more. It’s time for the cruelty to stop and for us to stand up for those who have no voice.
