Veterans make up a disproportionate number of those executed in the United States. Florida is preparing to carry out two more executions, both involving military veterans, under the leadership of Governor Ron DeSantis. If you believe our country owes more to those who served, now is the time to speak out.

• if you are comfortable with it, wear something or stand in front of something that a fellow veteran would recognize as identifying you as a veteran...
• Start with your name, service, rank at discharge, and your job or unit if you wish...
• Close by repeating your name, rank, service, “...And I’m calling on Gov. DeSantis to stop executing veterans.”

Your voice matters, and your message can help raise awareness. We’ll be sharing these videos on our social media platforms to highlight the growing number of veterans and allies who believe in justice, not execution.
