VOLUNTEER FOR 1-90 TRASH TAG CHALLENGE: CDA & POST FALLS COMMUNITY CLEANUP

1-90 Trash Tag Challenge

Community Cleanup: CDA & Post Falls

Saturday, April 17th, 10 AM - 12:30 PM

Starting Point: Treaty Rock, Post Falls

Take meaningful action in your community by helping clean up I-90 for Spring at our Trash Tag Challenge event! Trash on our freeway banks and rest areas in Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls have accumulated and are glaringly visible to residents and visitors.

We challenge the citizens of Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls to collectively fill 100 bags of trash at the event! We hope everyone will walk away with a sense of accomplishment and commitment to building a sustainable community.

Meet us at Treaty Rock in Post Falls where we will put on our orange vests, get directions & inspiration and disperse to various locations along 1-90. Sign up is strongly encouraged so we can allocate resources and provide communication, but not required. Bring your family & friends, a water bottle, and weather/work-appropriate clothes.

This pre-Earth Day event is in collaboration with local Trash Tag citizen organizers and the Sustainable Culture Podcast. Follow us at @civicenagementalliance on social media for more community events, action items, and educational content during our April Sustainable Community campaign.
