We have lots of great opportunities to volunteer with Energy Democracy Now! coming up. Help us reach new folks at our next community event, find new connections in different parts of the province, or help keep your representative informed on energy issues.

Volunteer description:

Contacting/Meeting with your MLA or Mayor: We want to make sure our representatives have responsible energy planning and climate action top of mind. Concerns coming directly from a constituent are the most effective way to get attention on important issues like climate and affordability. Energy Democracy Now! and our collaborators have been hard at work preparing plain-language documents and evidence on the importance of up-to-date energy legislation. Now it's time to get it into the hands of decision-makers. You don't need to be an expert to be taken seriously by your MLA. Explaining why you care about an issue can go a long way, and we can help ensure you are prepared to answer any questions comfortably.
