At North Derbyshire Green Party, our campaigns are people powered. With the disappointment at the latest Derbyshire County Council elections, we have decided to be ambitious with our plans. This involves sending a leaflet to as many doors in North Derbyshire (Chesterfield, Bolsover, North East Derbyshire District) while still supporting our two target campaigns of Hasland & Rother as well as Shirland & Wingerworth South.

To be able to achieve this, we need your help. The more people we can get involved, the better chance we have at winning.

You can help by doing one of the following:

Local leaflet delivery - This would involve in you leafletting some streets local to you. This could be as many or as few as you can manage. The first leaflet rounds are due to be ready in September/October 2025.

Become a candidate - To prepare for the next round of elections, you can let us know your interest to stand as a candidate now. This isn't a commitment, and if you decide that you no longer want to be marked as a potential candidate, you can email our coordinator. You'll get contacted closer to the time of an upcoming election in your area (or an area nearby) to confirm that you want to stand as a candidate.

Help in Hasland & Rother and/or Shirland & Wingerworth South - These are our two target campaigns, where we focus most of our time and resources and are the most likely places where we can run from the data we currently have. It is important to have a green voice in the room, so if you can travel to one or both of these areas, you can help to ensure that we win in these areas next time around.
