Volunteer with CALPIRG Students to make a difference at your college. Regardless of your schedule, you can volunteer with CALPIRG Students and make a difference. Whether you can volunteer once a week or once a semester, CALPIRG Students provides a unique opportunity to work on meaningful issues. You can get involved with a variety of programs, including community service events, environmental campaigns, voter registration drives and local research projects.

CALPIRG interns take on leadership on one or more of our campaigns and receive support and training from a team of experienced organizers and student leaders. Our internship program gives students the opportunity to take your education out of the classroom, do hands-on work, learn important skills, and make an impact. Interns are also eligible to get course credit in a variety of departments on campus.

We are looking for interns who are organized, communicate well, and are passionate about making a difference. Any experience level is welcome and prior leadership or campaign experience may make you qualified for an advanced position.
