The Wheeling DSA is a local group affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America. We believe that all people deserve basic rights and should have an actual say in their government and workplace. We are tired of decisions being made solely in the name of profits for a few at the cost of the common person and have decided to come together to organize around four basic pillars:

• Local Politics: Running and electing people to local offices that will actually stand up and fight for our community.
• Mutual Aid: Sharing resources and services within our community as a way to relieve some of the pains of a profit first capitalist system.
• Direct Action: Organizing targeted protests to demand change from elected officials, landlords, and businesses.
• Education: Hosting workshops and trainings on self and community defense, first aid, and political education.
