As Christians and siblings from many faiths, guided by our values and conscience, we pledge our public support for Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the Georgia U.S. Senate election. The balance of power of the U.S. Senate is in the hands of these two run-off elections on January 5th, 2021. The continued attack on truth, justice, and equality will continue unless we can move the Biden-Harris initiatives through Congress.

In the words of a well known Georgian, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle.” Rev. Warnock and Jon Osoff cannot win this race unless we get behind them and show our public support. Ossoff is the Jewish son of an immigrant and was mentored by Congressman John Lewis; Rev. Warnock is a well known Black pastor of the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church. These are the leaders we need at this turning point in Georgia politics to push the moral arc of America towards justice.

Rev. Warnock and Ossoff stand poised to join us in healing our nation. They will lead with hope instead of fear, love instead of hate, and unity instead of division.
