AT&T has been closing union-staffed stores and outsourcing to non-union Authorized Retail stores in an effort to cut union jobs and increase company profits. Workplace conditions and benefits at these third-party retailers, such as Alliance Mobile and Prime Communications, are dismal.
But workers are fighting back!
Workers at Alliance Mobile in Selma, Alabama just won their union election and are the first AT&T Authorized Retailer to join the AT&T Mobility Union with CWA!
