YDSA at ASU Interest Form

The Young Democratic Socialists of America at Arizona State University is a student-led advocacy group that is the college branch of the Democratic Socialists of America, the largest socialist organization in the country. Here at YDSA at ASU, our focus has been primarily on queer issues, labor rights, and anti-imperialist advocacy, where we have worked on building coalition with community members and mobilizing ASU students to fight back against fascism.

YDSA is a member-led and member-funded org, which means all of our actions are funded entirely by rank-and-file members, and led and organized by rank-and-file members. Our chapter is constantly recruiting and looking for new membership!

Most importantly, you do not need to currently identify as a socialist to join YDSA. We see education as one of our primary missions, which is why we welcome all people who have an open mind and a desire to learn and grow as leftists.

What to bring:

  • A desire to learn
  • An open-mind with regards to socialism, advocacy, and social justice
  • A passion for standing up for what's right

People of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to join!

If YDSA at ASU interests you, please fill out this form so we can reach out to you and discuss our onboarding process, how to get more involved, and more.
