EPNI’s Farm Team has detailed plans to grow nourishing food this summer, but more importantly, to grow deeper roots - and we need support to do that!
In the Fall, EPNI will finalize our purchase of the Roof Depot site from the city of Minneapolis, and finally gain access to the land that neighbors fought for a decade to save - land that will soon be revitalized as a transformative community hub.
While we wait, we’re using this time to dig deeper in conversations with the many communities across East Phillips through questions like: What land-based skills do people crave? What foods should we grow? What are the existing seed stories and relationships here that must be kept alive? What traditions should we start now?
In April, we're aiming to raise $10,000 to fund this groundwork. Donations of any size directly support EPNI’s summer seeds, workshops and surveys, all of which help build toward a locally-rooted and liberated food future in East Phillips, and beyond!
On April 26th, we’ll celebrate our collective efforts with a barbecue and concert from Minneapolis Choir Co-op, so mark your calendars and please donate what you can today!
