Formed in 2020, Secure Families Initiative has quickly demonstrated that military family voices can shape national policy– from advocating to the Biden administration to withdraw troops from Afghanistan, to cultivating bipartisan support for returning war powers to Congress. SFI has actively advocated to reign in unchecked spending and invest resources in the people, institutions, and practices we all need to thrive.
