Thank you to everyone who has supported our efforts to unionize at the ACLU of Kansas!
Our parent union, the United Media Guild- CWA, has offered ACLU-KS workers ample support and resources during this contentious and expensive union drive.
They've treated us as if we were a bargaining unit of hundreds: preparing multiple workers for a representation hearing and now arguing an unfair labor practice.
We are, in fact, a small unit and our dues will never possibly cover the legal expenses the ACLU has required during this process. We want to be good union members and support our union the same way they have supported us.
