Through policy reform, coalition partnerships, and public awareness, the Illinois Coalition for Human Rights (ICHR) works to build an Illinois where civil liberties are upheld, peaceful protest is protected, and policies reflect the fundamental values of free expression, equality, and justice for all communities.

We are currently dedicated to advocating for the IL Human Rights Advocacy Protection Act which would restore protections for peaceful advocacy by repealing the state's 2015 anti-boycott law that targets advocates for Palestinian rights.
