We are experiencing a burnout crisis from harmful work practices that are harming American families. Burned-out parents are more likely to abuse and neglect their children creating more adversity in childhood. At a time when 50% of managers and 44% of employees are burned out, we need to find solutions that solve workplace dysfunction, overwork, and harm. Adverse childhood experiences are the largest unaddressed national health crisis facing our nation. Workplaces contribute to them and must be part of the solution to address this crisis.
