On National Coming Out Day and every day, Trans United Fund and our leaders, allies, and partners across the country are building the political power our communities need for all of us to not just survive, but thrive-and we're doing it in a way that builds sustainable power from the ground up, with everyday, representative leaders and communities.
Last year we were decisive in doubling the number of trans people elected to public office around the country, and that was just the beginning. We're working hard this Fall to elect transformative trans, nonbinary, and outstanding ally leaders who will use their seats at decision making tables across the country to lift all of us up, and to address the issues most affecting us: violence, criminalization, immigration, health care, housing, discrimination, and so many more.
We have a real chance of electing Christine Hallquist as the first trans Governor in U.S. history in November, and there are dozens of other progressive, justice-minded trans and nonbinary candidates running this year that need Trans United Fund's help.
Whether you can jump in with $25, $100 or $500 a month, we need all of it to mobilize volunteers, use innovative technologies to get voters to the polls, and lead Christine-and the other trans leaders poised to make history around the country-to victory.
When we #TransTheVote, We Win.
Will you step into building trans political power as a Trans United Fund member?
