We are trying to get Greens elected to Derby City Council and bring forward the green and progressive policies that are clearly needed to tackle the truly important issues of our day.

The Green Party is dedicated to fighting the Climate Emergency and working to promote economic, social and political justice.

The Green Party in Derby City is a campaign group of the Derbyshire Green Party, which is part of the Green Party of England and Wales.

The Green Party is growing as more people realise the extent of the multiple crises we face, and the inadequacy of the response. The last local elections in 2019 were our most successful ever, doubling our councillors nationally and going from zero to 5 in Derbyshire.

We are a small party, which doesn't have big business or union support, so it isn't always possible to afford to make ourselves visible to the full electorate - but you can help to change that!

The Derby City team will do what it can to raise our profile on social media, but this only reaches a fraction of people. To really break through, we need billboards and leaflets, which cost money. The 5 district council seats we won in Derbyshire last time attest to the fact that we can and do win when we can get our message across.
