After a 9-hour sit-in and a meeting with Governor Kate Brown, people from the sit-in are being arrested. Our communities won’t stop until Jordan Cove LNG is stopped for good. #StopJordanCove #noLNG
For nearly 15 years, community members have been fighting back Jordan Cove LNG's attempts to build a polluting pipeline across so-called southern Oregon. With tribal sites & cultural resources, old growth forests and critical salmon habitat, private and public lands, and our collective climate at stake, our communities refuse to let State and Federal agencies simply rubber-stamp this project.
On Thursday, November 21st dozens of community members--fed up with Governor Brown's inexcusable silence on Jordan Cove LNG--took over the Governor's office and refused to leave. 21 people were arrested.
Donate now to support our continued organizing and to help cover the costs of court and legal fees of those arrested demanding Governor Brown take action and stop the Jordan Cove LNG fracked gas pipeline & export terminal.
