On May 17 at our CD action in Albany the Salka, Binghamton Tenant Organizer with Citizen Action, was violently arrested while attempting to support her comrades doing CD and deescalate a tense situation with the State Troopers.
Salka and 3 others (a CANY member, Met Council member, and VOCAL member) who sought to intervene in her arrest are facing criminal charges as a result of the CD (the rest of the arrestees are facing typical disorderly conduct charges.)
