Hi, I’m Duane Gurule, and I’m running for Colorado State Senate to represent rural communities across Southeast and Eastern Colorado.

I grew up in Rocky Ford and now serve as Mayor, where I’ve worked to bring people together and deliver real results for our community. My path hasn’t been easy but those challenges shaped my commitment to public service and fighting for others.

I’ve spent my career in technology, nonprofit leadership, and local government, focused on creating opportunity in places that are too often overlooked. I know what it takes to solve problems with limited resources, and that’s exactly the kind of leadership rural Colorado needs right now.

I’m running to fight for lower costs of living, protecting our water rights and rebuild our infrastructure, expanding access to healthcare, and growing our local economies with innovative, forward-thinking solutions.

This is a competitive race, and winning will take all of us.
