Hello Community Energy Supporter!
We are writing to you because you have taken part in one of our actions to advance community energy in the last few years. California Alliance for Community Energy is a unique organization advocating for a new community-centered decentralized energy model where real sustainability, affordability, reliability, and resilience are possible.
As we near the end of the year, we invite you all to look back on what the Alliance has accomplished in 2022 and help us in looking forward to the coming year.
This past year, we focused our efforts on advocacy around some of the most pressing challenges facing community energy, from the NEM 3.0 fiasco being voted on by the CPUC next week, to Newsom’s disastrous extension of Diablo Canyon nuclear energy. This advocacy also included our collaborative work with the Microgrid Equity Coalition and the Local Energy Equity Coalition, pushing to advance microgrid and distributed energy resource development at the CPUC, not to mention 11 very informative monthly statewide conference calls on hot issues with 30-40 attendees.
Read about this and more in our Year in Review 2022.
To continue our efforts into next year, including the ramp-up of a statewide campaign that mobilizes local clean energy supporters across California, we need your support!
Would you consider donating to help us reach our $10K fundraising goal?
Your donation will be matched, up to $3,500, by a matching fund. Every one of your dollars will be critical for our operations for 2023, funding our efforts regarding CPUC policies; base-building across the Golden State; and commitment to our mission to support and defend Community Choice and other energy programs in California that advance local clean energy for the environmental, economic, and social justice benefit of our communities.
Please consider a recurring monthly contribution.

Happy Holidays!
