UPDATE: Both have been released now, thanks for the swift response. It means a lot to know that we support each other when the authorities try to target any of us.

Protesters converged at the Dekalb County Jail to show solidarity with prisoners who are fighting against abuse and exploitation in jail.
Dekalb police and prison officials responded by targeting two protesters for arrest, and then closing the jail early to prevent them from being bailed out!
Both protesters were part of the Street Groomers, an organization dedicated to uniting young black people in "street tribes" to make positive change.
We don't know yet what the full amount is that will be needed to free them, but it could be punitively high, so every bit helps. If any funds are remaining after they're free, they will go towards jail support for Atlanta activists in the future.
