Time to Take the Next Step!

Over the last six months, DougCo Collective has laid the groundwork to serve as the pro-public education voice in our community.  We know that education is the cornerstone of our democracy, and now it’s time for us to take the next step and move forward with our commitment to inform every corner of Douglas County what is happening in our schools.  

To move on that commitment, we need two things:

1. To gather information on how our community feels about the way the Board of Education has been conducting business.

2. Raise the money to educate and inform the citizens in the county.

From Ponderosa to Thunder Ridge, from Castle View to Highlands Ranch, it is extremely important that we educate and inform every neighborhood in our district.  To do just that, we have decided to set a goal of raising $500 from each school community over the next two weeks. Setting this goal and raising money in all sectors of the county and from every school will show community support and desire for us to push forward with our informational campaign.  

We would be overjoyed to see some friendly competition between schools as well. Please help us and let us know which school community you represent and would like to help to reach its $500 goal for DougCo Collective!!
