In 2023 Heeding God's Call to End Gun Violence continued to change the conversation about guns and the violence they cause to a moral one and led the PA faith community to demand a lead role in the campaign to end gun violence.

We inspired and energized thousands of people of faith into action with our Memorials to the Lost® T-shirt memorials in nine PA counties. We directly encountered dozens of people and communities of faith through our locally-based Gun Violence Awareness Days. We played a critical role, through legislative meetings and thousands of letters to legislators, in achieving passage of an Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO) bill by the PA House. There is much more to do in 2024.

In 2024 Heeding has plans for the following (and more!):

• Lead the PA faith community to demand that the PA Senate pass the ERPO bill;
• Expand our Memorials to the Lost to the Lehigh Valley, Berks and York counties;
• Organize many new groups of houses of worship to host Ending Gun Violence Days;
• Help the faithful to reach out to legislators to demand changes in gun laws;
• Train people of faith on effective lobbying and arrange meetings with legislators and staff;
• Create and distribute Voter Guides informing candidates' stances on gun issues;
• Organize monthly reclaiming worship services at sites of gun murders;
• Host a statewide faithful lobby and action day in Harrisburg;
• Start and lead faithful public pressure on rogue gun shops
