Spring Mountain Wellness provides needs-based respite for people fleeing disasters and experiencing personal crises. Disaster after disaster keeps showing us how quickly life can unravel, and we're building life-sustaining infrastructure for our most vulnerable neighbors.
What We Provide
Personal Safety: Shelter, meals, communal facilities, and peer support for people experiencing crisis - ranging from no-payment-required to needs-based "contribute what you can".
Healing Care: Our herbalists and peer support members offer trauma-informed care that meets people where they are.
Community Resilience: We're training and learning from community members in disaster relief, peer support, practical skillshare, and arts programming, building capacity for the next crisis.

$20/month = One night of safe shelter for someone in crisis

$100/month = Robust crisis care package - shelter, meals, and support for three days

The peer respite program launched this fall. Native medicinal plants are thriving in our gardens. Every dollar ensures we can answer the call when someone needs a safe place to heal.
