Four years after Myanmar’s coup, the struggle for democracy continues, but so does our hope. Across the country and around the world, brave communities, activists, and youth persist in their call for freedom and a federal democracy that honors all ethnic groups.
My name is Nora Nyi Myint, and as someone who left Myanmar at fifteen to pursue education and now advocates from Washington, D.C., I’ve seen how vital it is to keep Myanmar on the radar of U.S. policymakers. Through my work as Government Relations and Grassroots Engagement Coordinator at the Campaign for a New Myanmar, I connect policymakers with grassroots voices to help turn compassion into policy.
Your gift helps us:
Build bipartisan support through engagement with the U.S. Congress and key policymakers on sanctions, humanitarian aid, and policies that reflect the will of the Burmese people
Unite diaspora voices with those on the ground, turning shared concerns into concrete advocacy and action
Call on businesses to end partnerships with junta-linked entities
Every contribution, big or small, sustains this work and keeps the movement alive. All gifts support the Campaign for a New Myanmar’s mission and help amplify the brilliant voices and tireless efforts of our team. I am proud to be one of many voices driving this movement forward.
Together, we can ensure that the world does not look away and that Burmese voices are never forgotten.
Will you join us in restoring democracy and human rights in Myanmar?
