The NoVA DSA Branch is raising funds to cover our organizing costs! We have 6 active workgroups: Migrant Justice, Defund PD, Tenant Organizing, Medicare 4 ALL, Labor (new!), Electoral (new!).

Organizers are currently digging in their own pockets to cover their expenses. Our $500 annual allotment from the Metro DC Chapter is about gone. Our branch covers many hundreds of dues-paying members across 10 jurisdictions: City of Alexandria, Arlington County, Fairfax County, the City of Fairfax, the City of Falls Church, Prince William County, Loudoun County, Fauquier County, the City of Manassas, the City of Manassas Park, and all municipalities located therein. Much of this area lacks reliable public transit and transportation costs can add up.

We are committed to transparency regarding our expenses so you know where your dollars are going. The Secretary's report to the Monthly Branch Meeting includes an update on the budget which is also publicly posted here. The Secretary maintains receipts and other documentation for all spending so reach out directly if you are curious about spending.
