Our Schools are the heart of Dublin
Who is DTA?
The Dublin Teachers Association and our DUSD families share a common value: high quality education for every child. We agree that students deserve safe environments, high quality instruction, individualized support and educators who are experienced and passionate.
We represent over 700 dedicated educators that serve Dublin students every day. DTA teaches in the classroom, but also, works tirelessly outside of the classroom to ensure DUSD invests in the best outcomes for students.
Why is DTA on Strike?
The use of a legal strike is a decision that comes after repeated years of DUSD management fighting every proposal DTA makes at the bargaining table, and after working without a contract for over six months this school year, with no movement from the district to reprioritize the budget to invest in our student-centered proposals.
What do DTA educators need?
Please consider making a monetary donation for our strike fund. With 10 hour days on the picket line for 700+ members, we need to ensure that they are fed and well cared for.
The money raised in this fundraiser will go directly to supporting DTA's efforts to fight for an agreement and budget that puts students at the center. To learn more visit our website. Any money that is not spent on educators during the strike will be donated in our student scholarship fund.
I’m not sure I can donate right now. How else can I support?
Come visit your teachers on the picket line! Bring signs, smiles, snacks or positive energy!
